Social Bookmarking is a growing trend on the World Wide Web.

Social Bookmarking allows internet users to store a list of useful resources so they are easily available anywhere in the world and it also allows you to share these bookmarks with others if you wish.

You will notice a strip of buttons at the bottom of each article. These buttons will allow you to add articles from this site quickly and easily to your chosen Social Bookmark account.

Changing Hosts

Some of you may have noticed that over the past few months this site has been disappearing from the Internet on a fairly regular basis for periods of up to a few hours. Additionally, the sending and delivery of email notifications has been unreliable.

This has all been caused by poor maintenance of the server by the company that was hosting this website.

I have therefore been forced into moving the hosting to another provider and so far it appears that the move has gone quite smoothly. You may find there are glitches in finding this site for the next few days and perhaps in some of the older content.

Hopefully the move will provide a more reliable platform for providing this site, so thank you for your patience and I hope you’ll notice an improvement in the coming weeks.

My wife gave birth yesterday to a beautiful baby boy. He weighed 7lb 9oz and both he a mum are doing fine.

As you can imagine I’m a bit pre-occupied with my new son just now to be writing many posts but I’ll get back to it soon so keep checking back!

The original purpose of this website was to provide Prescribing Information to the doctors in Blackpool.

The readership of this site is now far beyond that original purpose. Readers come from many geographical locations and also many differing clinical backgrounds. It is also clear that many readers work in an advisory capacity to doctors.
