MeReC Briefing on Dyspepsia
The National Prescribing Centre has published a MeReC Briefing detailing the management of dyspepsia in primary care.
The document uses a case study to examine the evidence for investigations and treatments for dyspepsia. The briefing covers endoscopy, H. pylori testing and eradication, lifestyle advice and drug therapy including proton pump inhibitors like omeprazole.
