MeReC Briefing on Dyspepsia

The National Prescribing Centre has published a MeReC Briefing detailing the management of dyspepsia in primary care.

The document uses a case study to examine the evidence for investigations and treatments for dyspepsia. The briefing covers endoscopy, H. pylori testing and eradication, lifestyle advice and drug therapy including proton pump inhibitors like omeprazole.

Action: Clinicians involved in the diagnosis and treatment of dyspepsia in primary care will find this concise case study a useful learning or revision tool.
