MeReC Bulletin - Infestations in Primary Care

The National Prescribing Centre (NPC) has published a MeReC Bulletin (PDF) that provides an overview of the diagnosis and management of head lice, classic scabies, threadworm and pubic lice in primary care.

The bulletin discusses each diagnosis individually covering transmission, diagnosis, treatment, treatment failures and patient counselling points:
