PRODIGY (formerly CKS) has returned. SCHIN previously held a contract with the NHS to provide the content for the CKS website. This contract was not renewed as it was considered unaffordable in the current economic climate.
The site has now been relaunched as PRODIGY or Clarity Knowledge Summaries. Approximately 140 topics have been updated since March 2011. The site aims to provide evidence-based information about common conditions managed by healthcare professionals working in primary care.
Action: Clinicians should be aware of the continued availability of CKS. Existing user accounts have been transferred to this new site.
